AMBruno and BBruno participated in the fifth annual edition of VOLUMES, the Independent Art Publishing Fair, which took place at the Kunsthalle in Zürich from Friday to Sunday, 23rd to 25th November 2018.

The twelve books made for the Cover project were shown as an exhibited display, though to be handled, and Sophie Loss and John McDowall (in this iteration of BBruno) showed a selection of their works.

VOLUMES is unusual in that there is a conventional book fair layout of tables/exhibitors on one floor, and upstairs a large open space for exhibitions, performances and talks. Participants were able/encouraged to set up bespoke displays and structures, informal areas for conversations, presentations and music. This is where AMBruno was located, with one of our neighbours being therapy sessions for the drawing of the unconscious, and in between floors - readings in the lift.
